These instructions are for current enrollees of the Perfect Health Platinum plan. Instructions for members enrolled in FIC plans can be found on the main open enrollment page.

Dates of Open Enrollment:

As of January 1, 2010, the Perfect Health Platinum plan will no longer be available. To continue group coverage through Freelancers Union, you must choose a plan offered through Freelancers Insurance Company (FIC).

Review your options for FIC plans

  1. The full information about 2010 FIC plans can be found at the insurance section of the Freelancers Union website.
  2. The only 2010 FIC plan that is HSA-eligible is the HD 5,000 plan (PDF).

How do I select a plan?

  1. Make sure you are signed-in to the Freelancers Union website.
  2. Visit the billing and enrollment website and follow the instructions you find there.
  3. Once open enrollment is over, you cannot change your plan until open enrollment next year.

Billing information

  1. Freelancers Union invoices 45 days in advance of coverage.
  2. Because you have not yet selected a 2010 plan, you will not be billed on the November 17 invoice for January coverage.
  3. If you select a 2010 FIC plan, you will be billed for both January and February coverage on December 15.
