About Term Life Insurance

Term Life Insurance is designed to provide life insurance coverage for a limited period of time. With Guardian's plan, your benefit amounts will automatically decrease by 50% when you reach age 65 and will terminate at age 70. You can select term life insurance for yourself, your spouse, and your children.

Enrollment in Guardian's term life insurance is limited to Freelancers Union members who meet the eligibility requirements.

Coverage Amounts

Members have a choice of policy amounts ranging from $50,000 to $1,000,000.

Coverage is available for your spouse or children, up to a percentage of the member's amount. You may enroll your spouse or children in term life insurance only if you are also enrolled or enrolling.

How Much Insurance Do You Need?
Industry experts recommend life insurance coverage equal to five to seven times your annual salary. However, everyone's lifestyle and personal situation is different, so select the amount that's best for you.
